Spring Blog Hop

Spring Collage Bouquet

Using Jessica Sporn Deigns Stencils..

They can be Found at

My inspiration,
my own little painting..

First Create Papers using stencils..

Next flip papers over and draw on the back of the papers..

I used Bristol board as my collage surface, I taped it off
and used Deco Arts Gesso to Create the surface
I tore the background paper and adhered it with Deco Arts Matte Medium

I arranged my bouquet and painted onto the background..

From my first Design team post I had some left over green paper in my stash.. I used that for the leaves and book pages for the inside of the flowers..
Everything was adhered with Deco Arts Matte Medium..

Using more paint I added more detail to the flowers and the overall piece..
I used black paint to outline the objects..

When it was finished I carefully peeled the tape,
I love this part!!

I was carefully to let some of the collage land Outside the border...
I like when work spills into the border!

And Done!

Happy Spring!

  1. It's JUST beautiful!! I love how it all came together with painted papers - it creates such a great texture on your blooms - and I LOVE the text in the center of the flowers. Bravo! xoxo

  2. Denise, This is absolutely Stunning! I love the quirkyness, almost abstract feel of your painting! Very clever to cut those pieces and collage the way you did!
    I must try this technique!
And what a different piece from your original, must say I am digging this one the best!
    hugs,
    Jackie
