Fall House

The third in this "series"

It started with the small journal page, then the tag,
next the wood block and I still have to do that small ATC card....

I kept the tag and journal page in front of me while I worked on the "house".
I used the same elements, the printed leaves, and the printed tree,
Heres how it went....

Rip and tear some paper...
Adhere with gel medium...
To both sides

Put a base color on....
Add some stenciling in white

Gesso a spot for the door.....

Off to the internet for some door inspiration....
Love that Door!

I changed the color of mine since I had already painted the house that color...
I Also added some brick around the door....

Figuring out where to place the tree....
then adhered with gel medium....

Cut & adhered the leaves after extending the tree branches with black paint...
I tried to wrap the tree around the whole piece....

Added some dabs of color to fill in the tree...
And a little more white stenciling...

The word Journey from an old book....
Some more whit paint....

and done....

The sides....

The series so far....

Would love to hear what you think!!

Still have to do that ATC....wow thats small!!!

These blocks of wood are just calling out to be a haunted house!!!

Enjoy!!
