Deco Arts Media...
Gesso, Matte Medium, Crackle Paste
Fluid Acrylics: Carbon Black, Primary Magenta, Cadmium Red Hue,
Titanium White, Interference Gold, Antiquing Cream
3x3 mini stencils, 10x10 card stock, ephemera
The steps...
Gesso, tear paper....
apply with matte medium...
Apply Crackle Paste with Palette Knife...
Let dry! Creates great texture!
While that dries....
Create paper for hearts and words...
1. Gesso paper
2. Add coat of Cadmium Red
3. Use stencil and sponge, add Primary red
4. Let it dry... add Interference Gold, adds shimmer!
Back to the mini-canvases!
Add Antiquing Cream
Edge Canvas with Carbon Black
A little white here and there
Interference Gold on those cracks!!!
and back to the paper!
For the words I used Interference Gold on the Gesso,
and Carbon Black For the words.
Flip the paper over Draw and Cut Hearts outof the paper.
Begin to arrange!!
To adhere it all together I used a mixture I made of Fluid Gel Medium and Self Leveling Gel.
Its very thick, which adds to the texture, needs a generous amount of drying time!!
