Fall Series.........

Fall has such great color to work with...........

Perfect for creating a series of work.

Especially when they tie into so many great challenges out there!

First I chose my sizes...

Then added another.....have to use those wood blocks!

Thanks to the many challenges I have my theme, know to begin.....

Prime the block & start to think!!

Press the leaves...That my daughter was so kind to collect!!

Printed on old book pages & Deli paper

Add color, I used Intense blocks so they would be permanent,

Paint the background of the page.  

For this I was working backwards, 

the page already had a ghost print on it from a soft cut block I had made.

I had to think about what to use, finally Distress Stain, 

as it is transparent and permanant.  

Watercolor was not an option for this page, I was forced to think!

Oops big mistake with that purple! How to cover it up!

Next, cut out the leaves, play with placement...

Ok got it! Apply with matte medium.... 

Stamp lettering on book pages....

Add a little of this and a little of that 

( pens, charcoal, gelato)

And Done!!
