heres my garden....
a long canvases...
no watering requiring!!
here's the steps...
gesso..
color, i dragged the color with the credit card.....
green for grass....
again i used the credit card...
no watering required!!!
stamped flowers with cardboard tube....
titan buff in flowers...
i thought i was going to leave it at this point..
but it needed color...
i started with stabile color pencils....
but i didn't like the colors...
needed more color, back to acrylics...
needed some texture in the background....
found this in my moms basement,
thought it would make a great texture...
still not sure what it is for!!!
dragged black around the edges, i just like the way it looks!!!
some writing in the painting....
and done.....
now where to hang it???

ReplyDeleteLove, love, love this! My medium was always paper...scrapbooking. I am now, this year, learning about paints...my goal is to get some of my work on my bare walls. I can be very timid when I start a piece but with inspiration from people like you I am pushing myself along...trying new things and enjoying the process! Thanks for sharing!
